Which insurers do you direct-bill in Abu Dhabi?
DISC Abu Dhabi direct-bills Daman, Sukoon, NAS and Neuron. Run the eligibility check in our booking portal to confirm your specific plan and co-pay before you book.
What if my plan requires pre-authorization?
Our admin team submits the request on your behalf at booking. For most policies this is returned within hours; complex cases may take up to 48 hours, we'll keep you posted.
Can I claim reimbursement if my insurer isn't on your list?
Absolutely. We'll provide a detailed medical invoice and report for you to submit. Most international insurers (Aetna International, Cigna Global, GeoBlue, WPA) reimburse us as an out-of-network provider.
Is there a co-payment?
It depends on your plan. The eligibility check in our booking portal shows your exact co-pay and deductible before you confirm the appointment.
What does a session cost if I pay myself?
Self-pay rates in Abu Dhabi:
- Physiotherapy and chiropractic: AED 650 first visit, AED 550 each follow-up
- Doctor consultation: AED 650
- VALD strength assessment session: AED 650
Prices are per session and include the clinician's assessment and treatment plan.
Which services are self-pay only?
These three are not billable to insurance:
- Recovery Package (manual therapy, compression, cold plunge): AED 650
- Lymphatic Drainage Package (compression, manual lymphatic drainage, compression): AED 650
- AMIT muscle-activation add-on to an existing session: AED 200
Everything else on your visit can still be direct-billed as normal.
Can I have a DEXA scan or an X-ray in Abu Dhabi?
Not at our Abu Dhabi clinic, we don't have imaging on site.
DEXA, X-ray and ultrasound are available at DISC Diagnostics, our imaging centre in Dubai Healthcare City, where a DEXA total-body scan is AED 1,500. We'll send the referral and share the report with your Abu Dhabi clinician.
Is there a fee if I cancel or reschedule?
Only if you change an appointment less than six hours before it starts. That carries a AED 250 late cancellation fee, which insurance does not cover.
Give us more than six hours' notice, by portal, WhatsApp or phone, and there's no charge.
